I'm reading The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. My book is about a boy named Amir who lives in Afghanistan. He has a best friend named Hassan, they have been friends since they were babies. They both lost their mothers, Amir's mom died after giving birth to him. Hassan's mom left him with his dad after he was born. Amir's father is one of the most richest people in Afghanistan his name is Baba.
This story is based in Afghanistan. Amir lives in beautiful, big house. In the backyard is Hassan's house. It's like a little shack. In that house Hassan was born. Amir and Hassan have a tree. It's on top of hill, it grows pomegrantes. That tree they declared it theres.
The main characters are Amir, Hassan, and Baba. I think the Universal theme is a message about life. I think that because It doesn't matter where your from or your religion or the race you are we are all faced with challenges. We all have friends and we all have to overcome difficult obsticales.

My character Amir expresses himself by writing. He has written some short stories and has read a lot of books. And when I think of myself I notice that I sometimes get my journal and I just write little poems of what I am feeling. But what I have really realized is that I mostly express by listening to music. With every mood I have I just HAVE to listen to that mood song. And I also tend to reorganize my room when I get mad. I also read books due to my mood.
